Less than two years ago, the Raspberry Pi Foundation prepared a completely new computer system. It was a Pi Zero 2 W, which was much more compact compared to the rest of the Raspberry Pi models. The novelty was based on a 64-bit Broadcom BCM2710A1 processor, which calculates data with four Arm Cortex-A53 processor cores with a frequency of one gigahertz.

Recently, however, the popular Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W received a new worthy competitor. It is an ultra-compact BPI-M4 Zero computer system from Banana Pi. The novelty was recently offered for sale. For the entry-level version of the novelty, equipped with two gigabytes of system memory and eight gigabytes of data storage space, only a calculated 26.8 euros must be paid.

The Banana Pi BPI-M4 Zero compact desktop computer is based on the Allwinner H618 processor. In practice, this means that it uses four ARM Cortex-A53 processor cores to calculate data. The Mali-G31 graphics card is built in for slightly more advanced graphic and multimedia content and online games. This will easily convince even slightly more demanding users.

The Banana Pi BPI-M4 Zero compact computer system offers another two gigabytes of system memory and eight gigabytes of data storage space. The novelty measures only 65 x 30 millimeters. This comes as no surprise as it uses the same base board as the Orange Pi Zero 2W and Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W systems. Yet it offers all the ports and connections, including the indispensable Bluetooth 4.2 and Wi-Fi 4 wireless connections. Banana Pi BPI Compact Computing System - As expected, the M4 Zero also supports a wide range of open source operating systems.
