Era of Overman is a fairly typical "idle" RPG game. It allows us to build our own team, develop it to the highest possible level, so that it is easier to fight the villains, and then they continue to an ever higher level. An interesting aspect of the game is also the rewards "in the background" when the game is closed. Nothing you haven't seen before in similar games. It hits that sweet spot very quickly where you do a ton of damage, so fans of big numbers will enjoy it. Aside from running poorly on some mid-range and low-end phones, the game's only downfall is some of the free-to-play mechanics. The user experience could be better, but it's still not terrible.

Interval Timer

Interval Timer by SimpleInnovation is a new interval timer that records a surprising amount of downloads. It works similarly to most interval timers where you can set the number of laps and duration for each lap. It then offers you a colorful screen where you can monitor the timer during your workout. It's tailored for fitness and even has a tracker that lets you see your progress. Interval Timer works pretty well and appears to be completely free to use. That's always a bonus for an app.

QUIRK

QUIRK, short for Quick Ultimate Intense Random Karmic, is a tower defense game with some unique mechanics. Let's build a team using hunters, knights and wizards. Then we defend ourselves against waves of enemies. Strategy comes from positioning the team in a way that makes the best use of their various talents and abilities. Graphically, QUIRK isn't the most intense game, but we had fun with it during testing. Overall, it's a decent time killer with slightly different mechanics than most defense games.

Natural Atlas is a map application. You can download these for offline use, plan hiking routes, and even print maps to use without a smartphone. The app contains information on 11,000 campsites, more than 350,000 kilometers of trails and more than 23,000 boat ramps. There is a bunch of other information that makes Natural Atlas very useful. If you're the adventurous type, it's for you. It's also worth noting that it competes pretty well with other camping and hiking apps. There's also a Pro version, but it's quite expensive, but we think the people it's aimed at won't mind paying for it.

Blackpink The Game

Blackpink The Game is a business management simulator where you manage the girl group Blackpink. The goal of the game is to improve their talents, craft their schedules and customize their outfits to achieve maximum impact. There are also mini-games, puzzles to solve, and other things to keep players busy while there's a lot going on in the background. People who like dress-up games will probably enjoy something like this a lot more than, say, sim game fans. Anyway, Blackpink The Game isn't a bad simulator, but it's hard to get used to if you're not really into these types of games.
