Samsung surprised with the Galaxy M55s phone

Samsung has announced the launch of the long-awaited Galaxy M55s 5G smartphone. The novelty is currently on sale in the Indian market and is actually a slightly "modified" version of the Galaxy M55 phone, so it is also suitable for slightly more demanding users. Its retail price for the entry-level version is set at a calculated 214 euros, which is of course not excessively expensive.

The new Galaxy M55s has a 6.7-inch or 17-inch Super AMOLED+ screen with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels (FHD+) and a refresh rate of 120 frames per second. The highlight is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 mobile processor in conjunction with eight gigabytes of system memory. For data storage, 128 gigabytes or 256 gigabytes of system memory are available (depending on the version). Fortunately, the built-in memory can be expanded using a memory card.

Great care was also taken here for taking photos and conducting video conferences. Samsung engineers equipped the Galaxy M55s smartphone with a main camera with a resolution of 50 million points with an optical stabilizer, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP camera (macro). The main camera has up to 10x digital zoom. The front camera for selfies has a resolution of 50 million pixels. Therefore, it is also suitable for online conferences and for capturing selfies for any occasion.

Other features of the Samsung Galaxy M55s include GPS, dual SIM card slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, USB Type-C port and 3.5mm headphone jack. The interesting Galaxy M55s is also powered by a battery with a capacity of 5,000 milliampere hours, which is compatible with "fast" charging of 45 watts of electricity. The fingerprint reader is built into the power button.

The interesting Galaxy M55s can be purchased in two colors: black and blue. Android 14 with the graphical interface One UI 6.1 definitely adds to the i. As already mentioned, the novelty is currently available for purchase in the Indian market. The entry-level version with 128 gigabytes of built-in memory is valued at 214 euros, and with 256 gigabytes at 275 euros.
