Powkiddy took a big risk with the original RGB30, as it was a horizontal 1:1 aspect ratio handheld that worked very well with many retro games with that aspect ratio, especially the Game Boy Color games.

Powkiddy also had some good feedback from fans of the RGB20S - it was an affordable vertical handheld that could emulate PS1 games and below - so like many handheld manufacturers in the field, they decided to combine the two and create a new RGB20 Pro. The novelty is currently in the trial phase and will be on sale soon.

This uses the same design as the RGB20S, but with the difference that it has a 4:3 screen. So they created a vertical handheld with a unique screen ratio - and now it's exactly what Powkiddy fans have been asking for. The novelty boasts a 3.2-inch screen with a resolution of 1,024 x 768 pixels, which will easily convince many.

The official website states that the device will be able to emulate most retro consoles, including the Nintendo 64, Playstation 1 and Nintendo DS. This screen size makes the Nintendo DS a little more tolerable if you want to display both screens instead of switching between them. Although the text will be very small, it is still possible.

The new Powkiddy RGB20 Pro is colorful, has a bright screen, and its user interface is basic enough to understand without a manual. In addition, it impresses with its partly transparent front. The novelty should be on sale before autumn.
