Meta presented the new Quest 3 VR glasses

At the end of 2020, the company Meta started selling virtual reality glasses Meta Quest 2. Despite the low price, these are equipped with very high-quality screens. Namely, they offer image rendering in a resolution of 1,832 x 1,920 pixels. Currently, the image refresh rate is limited to 72 frames per second, but it should soon be increased to 90 frames per second with a software update.

At the end of June, the Meta company is expected to present a new generation of virtual reality glasses. This will be the Quest 3 glasses, which will be on sale for around 570 euros. This is the price for the entry level version. The Meta Quest 3 is said to be about 40 percent thinner compared to its predecessors. In addition, hand controls will also receive improvements.

Virtual reality glasses Meta Quest 3 will be equipped with a new mobile processor, which was developed in cooperation with Qualcomm Technologies. This should offer twice as much graphics power compared to the processor built into the Meta Quest 2 glasses. Two more cameras with a resolution of four million pixels will be added for better spatial perception. In addition, more than 500 games will be available for them. Meta Quest 3 virtual reality glasses will be revealed to the public on June 27.
